# Large Smoky Quartz Crystal Formation
A commanding large-scale formation of Smoky Quartz, this exceptional specimen measures approximately 9 inches high, 10 inches across, and 6 inches deep, creating the presence of a natural crystalline sculpture.
The formation is composed of substantial Smoky Quartz crystals in shades ranging from translucent smoky gray to deep charcoal and nearly black. Across the specimen, broad crystal faces, strong geometric terminations, and overlapping formations create an extraordinary sense of depth and architecture.
One of the specimen's most striking features is the large, beautifully defined crystal point near the lower portion of the formation. Projecting prominently from the surrounding crystals, it creates a dramatic focal point and gives the piece exceptional dimensionality.
Lighter translucent and pale crystalline areas move between the darker Smoky Quartz formations, creating powerful natural contrast. Under changing light, portions of the deeper crystals reveal unexpected translucency while reflective faces illuminate the complex internal and external structure of the specimen.
Viewed from different sides, the formation changes considerably. Towering dark crystals dominate one perspective, while another reveals open crystalline spaces, lighter mineral areas, and the remarkable layering through which the individual crystals developed together.
Its impressive dimensions and bold natural form make this far more than a traditional cabinet specimen. It has the scale and visual authority to stand alone as a statement mineral sculpture in a collection, office, library, or thoughtfully curated interior.
Selected for The Aureli' Collection for its exceptional size, dramatic Smoky Quartz crystallization, prominent crystal point, and powerful sculptural presence.
