Large Mexican Mixed-Color Calcite
A substantial and visually distinctive mixed-color Calcite specimen from Mexico, measuring approximately 12 inches long and 5 inches wide.
This remarkable piece brings together an unusually varied palette of natural Calcite coloration. Translucent olive and moss-green crystalline areas move through creamy white and clear formations, while broad passages of soft rose, mauve, and earthy pink create striking contrast across the specimen.
Rather than presenting a single uniform crystal structure, the piece reveals layers, crystalline pockets, fractures, and changes in color throughout its surface. Areas of greater translucency catch the light beautifully, allowing the green and pale crystalline formations to appear almost luminous against the deeper rose-toned matrix.
At approximately a foot in length, this is a substantial display specimen. Its low, broad profile allows the complexity of the mineral formation to be appreciated from above as well as from the sides, making it especially effective on a console, mineral table, shelf, or illuminated display.
The combination of scale, varied coloration, and raw crystalline texture gives the specimen an almost landscape-like quality—a naturally formed composition of color and mineral structure created entirely within the Earth.
Selected for The Aureli’ Collection for its impressive size, unusual combination of natural Calcite colors, richly textured crystalline surface, and distinctive sculptural presence.
