Periwinkle Blue Fluorite

$75.00

Periwinkle Blue Fluorite with Quartz

A beautiful natural specimen of Periwinkle Blue Fluorite, distinguished by its unusually soft blue-violet coloration and an attractive contrasting formation of pale crystalline material.

The Fluorite forms an abundant cluster of translucent cubic crystals, ranging from delicate lavender-blue to deeper periwinkle tones. The overlapping cubes create wonderful geometric complexity, with sharply defined edges and reflective crystal faces that reveal subtle changes in color as the specimen is turned in the light.

Rising across one portion of the Fluorite is a contrasting cluster that appears to be Quartz, introducing clear-to-smoky neutral tones against the cool blue Fluorite. I would describe this conservatively as Fluorite with Quartz unless you have the dealer's mineral identification confirming another associated mineral.

What makes this piece especially appealing is the contrast between the precise cubic geometry of the Fluorite and the more irregular crystalline formation above it. Viewed from different angles, pockets of deeper blue appear between the crystals, giving the specimen considerably more depth than its delicate color initially suggests.

Selected for The Aureli’ Collection for its beautiful periwinkle coloration, well-developed cubic Fluorite crystals, contrasting mineral association, and elegant natural form.
